Special relationship (international relations)

A special relationship is a diplomatic relationship that is especially strong.
For the historically close relationship between the United Kingdom and the United States see Special Relationship. In its extended use outside the Anglosphere, it has also been used to describe the whole of EU–US relations[1] and the following relations:
