Season 2: 2012-13

The course changed

• Escape the stockade is now ditch the dungeon with a different course.
• Instead of 12 attackers each round, there are 10.
• New defenders join the Splatalot! cast and defender Gildar leaves the cast in episode 1. Returning defenders are Kook, Thorne and Skabb. Knightress, Shaiden, Crocness, Tinkor, Ballista and Gildar (he did appear in episode 1 saying that that's his last episode also saying he's going to put Vane in his place before he leaves) did not return. New defenders are Faetal (replaced Ballista), Madeva (replaced Knightress) and Vane (replaced Gildar).
• Splatapult added to cross the moat
• The king or queen of Splatalot can launch one defender into the moat (or put them on the scary-go-round blind-folded if the Capture The Crown round takes place at night)

Celebrity Splatdown!

The cast of Life with Boys and Mr. Young will go face to face in Splatalot: Celebrity Splatdown!. It was filmed on July 6, 2012 and it premiered on November 3, 2012. This is Spatalot's first one-hour special. Mr. Young competed for "YMCA Canada Food Programs" and Life with Boys competed "ONEXONE's First Nations School Breakfast Programs". Brendan, Matreya, Torri and Jake were the last four contestants. All contestants advanced to round 2. Mr. Young won the contest but, both Charity's received money. This is Gildar's last episode. Andy Chapman from YTV's Crunch interviewed some defenders and some attackers. Nathan McLeod's battle cry was "YOLO" referring to "You Only Live Once".
