St Brihthelm

Brihthelm is an obscure saint from medieval England. Elizabeth Shelford, Abbess of Shaftesbury (1505–1528), had a 'Book of Hours' written for her, which included an obscure reference in one part of the book of a 'procession to the tomb of St Brihthelm'.[1]

There were several bishops in England who had this name in the 10th century, including one who served as Archbishop of Canterbury, although it is not clear which one, if any, was being referred to.[2]
