Stefan Ritter (born (1998-05-13)13 May 1998) is a Canadian male track cyclist, representing Canada at international competitions. He won the bronze medal at the 2016 Pan American Track Cycling Championships in the 1 km time trial and in the team sprint.^[1] Ritter is the current (2016) UCI junior world champion in the 1 kilometer time trial.

His time of 1:01.673 in Aigle Switzerland, 20-24 July 2016, placed him on top of the podium claiming the rainbow jersey and title of world champion in the junior category. His time in the one kilometer event at Aigle was 0.297 seconds outside the world record at the time. Ritter also placed himself on the podium to receive a bronze medal in the match sprint competition. Having qualified second fastest in a time of 10.245 seconds. Although, the match sprint event was relatively new to Ritter, his speed endurance made him an undeniable force in the event. At the 2016 Pan American Championships in Aguascalientes, Mexico, 2016, October, while still a junior category rider, he competed in the elite men's category. In the 1 kilometer time Trial in Aguascalientes, Ritter set a new Junior World Record in a time of 1:00.578 this world record is also the new standard for all Canadian men. He also established world junior record during qualification for the match sprint event. His world record time of 9.738 seconds for the 200 meter discipline also established a new Canadian Elite men's record. A record once held by Canada's most decorated track cyclist Curt Harnett.
