Stephanie Valin (born 6 July 1987 in Montreal, Quebec) is a female water polo player of Canada.
Personal
Her parents are Stewart and Marilyn. She was born and still lives in Montreal. She did an Art History major at Concordia University. She volunteered at various charity events for Polio Quebec, Live for the Cause, Fast and Female.
Career
Valin started playing water polo when she was nine years old. As a member of the junior national team, she competed at the 2005 FINA World Junior Championships and won silver at the 2006 Junior Pan American Championships. She was part of the Canadian team that just missed the podium with its fourth-place finish at the 2009 Summer Universiade. She moved up to the senior national team in 2010, going on to compete at the 2011 and 2013 FINA World Championships as well as multiple editions of the FINA Water Polo World League Super Final. She was part of the Canadian team at the 2015 World Aquatics Championships.[1]
