Steve Kirk is a composer, arranger, guitarist, and singer. He owns Steve Kirk Pop Studios in Oakland, California.
Kirk has composed music for video games,[1] including the Zynga Facebook game FarmVille,[2] the BioWare online game Star Wars: The Old Republic,[3] the Disney game for The Princess and The Frog feature film,[4][5] and the full soundtrack of Voodoo Vince for the Xbox.[6][7]
Kirk has composed and played guitar for the Club Foot Orchestra, which created original soundtracks for classic silent films, including Sherlock, Jr, Nosferatu and Pandora's Box, as well as the score for the animated series The Twisted Tales of Felix the Cat.
Born in 1957 in San Diego, California, Kirk has resided in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 26 years. He teaches guitar, bass, and composition at the Blue Bear School of Music[8][9] and the Community Music Center,[10] both in San Francisco, California.
