Storm Studios AS[1] is a Norwegian postproduction company specializing in visual effects for feature films, television, commercials, music videos and animation. The company employs 25 people and is situated in Oslo, Norway. The company was started in 2001.
Storm Studios has won several awards for their work, including the Norwegian BVE award for Best Visual Effects in a feature film for their contribution to World War II movie Max Manus. Storm Studios also cooperated with British BreakThru Films on the animated feature Free Jimmy which won the Amanda award for best feature film 2006 and on the animated short Peter & the Wolf that went on to win an Oscar in 2008.
Storm Studios cooperate and are co-located with Nordisk Film Shortcut who do sound, grading and other post production services. Shortcut is partly owned by Nordisk Film and partly by Storm Studios.
