Street Soldiers Tour was a concert tour by American rock band Linkin Park. It was launched in support of Linkin Park's first studio album "Hybrid Theory". The tour started in January 2001, and ended in February 2001. Taproot and Styles of Beyond were included as special guests in the tour. Later Alien Ant Farm replaced Styles of Beyond as Special guests. Whereas Stephen Richards gave a special appearance for a few shows in the tour besides he was with his own band "Taproot".
Background
The tour was announced on the same day on which the tour started. The first show was played for 107.7 The End 'Endsession' which was the first ever headlining show for the band. The duration of the tour was a month and it included 20 shows across the United States. Before this tour Linkin Park had started their Hybrid Theory World Tour with their first leg named under "Hybrid Theory European Promo Tour". After this tour the band played as a supporting act for various tours like Deftones' "Back To School" Tour, "Ozzfest" and "Family Values Tour". In the meantime the band continued their world tour with only two legs after the promo tour. This tour played the role as an American leg to the World Tour of Hybrid Theory.
