Suruchi Adarkar(born 25 April 1988) (सुरुची आडारकर) is an Indian Marathi actress who has accomplished several roles in many Marathi television serials. Born on 25 April 1988,[2] Suruchi started her career in acting since 2007 when she acted in a commercial play ‘Avagha Rang Ekchi Zhala’ produced by Prabhakar Panshikar. Since then, Suruchi has acted in many serials like:[3]

Especially, Suruchi's role of Aditi in Ka Re Durava significantly won her fame and praise across the viewer community. Suruchi also acted a small role in a Hindi film Tathastu wherein Sanjay Dutt was the hero.[4] Apart from this, she supports women empowerment, an initiative by Zee Marathi Jagruti.[5]

Early life and family

Suruchi was born and brought up in Thane, Maharashtra. She completed her schooling from Saraswati Vidyalaya, Kalwa, and completed her Master of Arts with English Literature from Vaze Kelkar College. She would be pursuing her PhD shortly. Apart from this, Suruchi is a district level Volleyball player. Suruchi's father is the Principal in a law college and mother is a house wife. Suruchi has also a younger brother who is pursuing his engineering degree.[4]
