Susan Emma Mills (born 7 February 1958) is an English businesswoman who is the driving force behind the Cherubs Group, a Nottinghamshire based child care company.

Career

When Mills fell pregnant with her first child, she and her husband John opened their first day nursery. So popular was the centre, that they opened a second site on the same road. The group grew over the next two decades into the multimillion-pound chain that is established today.[1]

The group includes, Cherubs Day Nurseries ltd, Childcare East Midlands LLP, Longdale Nursery Schools, Busy Bee's, Glosscalm Properties ltd, Childcare Training Services ltd and Step Ahead Kids Club's, along with a number of other smaller subsidiaries. Mills and her family also own the Jersey-registered Glosscalm Group.

Personal life

Mills lives at Lound Hall in Bothamsall, a stately home in the North Nottinghamshire country side. And in 2010, started a restouration project on the 16,000 square foot mansion. Mills has 3 sons, one of who is British actor and model Charlie Mills (actor).

Taking into account company shares, along with personal asset's and wealth, Mills has a current estimated networth of £39 million, up from £31 million in 2015.
