"Swear" is the sixth episode of the seventh season and 89th episode overall of the post-apocalyptic horror television series The Walking Dead, which aired on AMC on November 27, 2016. The episode was written by David Leslie Johnson and directed by Michael E. Satrazemis.
The episode revolves around Tara (Alanna Masterson) running into trouble after crossing paths with a mysterious new group.
Plot
Two weeks after the attack at the Saviors' satellite station outpost, Tara (Alanna Masterson) is separated from Heath (Corey Hawkins) after falling off a bridge during a walker attack. She washes up on a beach, where she is found and revived by a girl named Cyndie (Sydney Park). She follows Cyndie to her community, Oceanside: a group consisting of only women and children; all males in the group, aged 10 and above, were slaughtered by the Saviors. Cyndie helps Tara find her way back to Alexandria, and makes her swear to never mention Oceanside to anyone. She is met at the gate of Alexandria by an emotional Eugene (Josh McDermitt) and learns of the events that occurred while she was away.
