Russ Shields is an American entrepreneur who is known for investing in and leading Navteq to profitability and finally selling it to Nokia for $8 billion. He is now founder and chair of Ygomi LLC. After attending The Hotchkiss School, he received a BS in mathematics from Wichita State and an MA (history) and MBA from the University of Chicago.

He was the recipient of the 2008 Entrepreneurial Alumni award from the Chicago Graduate School of Business.[1][2]
