TLG index of thought leaders
The TLG index of thought leaders was an annual ranking of individuals and groups that were judged to have shown demonstrable leadership on an issue that influenced stakeholder opinion and brand perception. It was published between 2008-13 by TLG Partners (formerly known as Ledbury Group), a London-based consultancy.[1][2] A variety of different indices were published, including listings for the UK, US and India.[3][4]
For the purposes of the index, a thought leader was defined as driving positive change in behaviours and attitudes.[5][6] The index was compiled by polling a stakeholder panel across four sectors: government, media, civil society and business.[4] These included government ministers, directors of blue-chip companies and newspaper editors.[3][5]
The TGI team was acquired by FTI Consulting in January 2014.[7][8][9]
