TSS Rathmore was a twin screw steamer passenger vessel operated by the London and North Western Railway from 1908 to 1923, and the London, Midland and Scottish Railway from 1923 to 1927.[1]
History
She was built by Vickers, Sons & Maxim Ltd of Barrow-in-Furness for the London and North Western Railway in 1908.
On 4 March 1918, she was sunk in a collision and 26 people went missing,[2] but was successfully raised and continued in service.
She was sold in 1927 to Angleterre-Lorraine-Alsace for the Tilbury to Dunkirk service, and was scrapped in 1932.
