Perum Cheral Irumporai (Tagadur Erinta) was a Chera prince during the Sangam period (between the 1st and the 3rd century CE) in southern India. He is famous for the invasion, destruction and victory of the city of Tagadur of Adigaman chief Ezhni. He is the hero of the eighth chapter of the Pathirrupattu composed by poet Arisil Kilar.[1]
