Tashkeel Dubai
Tashkeel Hub is an art facility in the United Arab Emirates. Tashkeel Hub opened in 2008 by Lateefa bint Maktoum as a contemporary art facility in the United Arab Emirates to provide permanent studio spaces to artists, host art exhibitions, funds artist exchange and artist residency programs on its premises located near Nad Al Sheba, Dubai.[1]
Acclaimed exhibitions
- Declaration - 2014 solo exhibition for Tunisians French calligraphy artists el Seed's.[2]
- Made In Tashkeel (2009-2015) - an annual art exhibition showcasing the works of Tashkeel members and recent exhibiting artists.[3]
Art residencies
- The New Media Residency (June 2014 - April 2015) with sound artists Fari Bradley and Chris Weaver.[4]
- A.I.R (2012-2013) in collaboration with Dubai Culture & Arts Authority, Delfina Foundation and Art Dubai.[5]
