Teuchocercus is a genus of lizards endemic to South America. The genus contains only one species.[1]

Etymology

The specific name, keyi, is in honor of American physician and amateur herpetologist George Key (1942-1999).[2]

Geographic range

T. keyi is only found in Ecuador.[1]
