Tevin Westbrook (born February 17, 1993) is an American football tight end for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Florida.

Early Years

A Rivals.com three-star Defensive End prospect from Florida… Helped North Broward Prep School to a 6-3 record his senior year… Also played basketball in high school… Chose Florida over UConn, North Carolina, Purdue and USF… Coached by Rex Nottage.

College Career

2014: Played in all 12 games and started twice at tight end… Totaled eight catches for 81 yards with two touchdowns… Caught two passes for 25 yards against Kentucky and scored his first career touchdown… Set career highs with three catches, 35 yards and a touchdown against Missouri… 2013: Played in all 12 games and made two starts at tight end… Totaled three catches for 30 yards on the season… Recorded his first career catch in the season-opener against Toledo… Had a career-long catch of 17 yards against Vanderbilt… 2012: Moved to tight end prior to the season… Saw action in all 13 games and started against Bowling Green… Did not record any catches… Graded out 80 percent or better seven times… 2011: Appeared in three games as a true freshman: FAU, UAB and Kentucky… Had two tackles at Kentucky, including a 6-yard TFL… Named Scout Team Offensive Player of the Week after Furman.

Professional Career

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

On September 30, 2015, Westbrook was signed to the practice squad of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.[1] On August 28, 2016, Westbrook was waived by the Buccaneers.[2] On October 17, 2016, he was re-signed to the practice squad.[3]
