Thayilla Pillai (English: Motherless Child) is 1961 Tamil language drama film directed by L. V. Prasad producer under his prasad movies.[1] The film script was written by M. Karunanidhi and story were written by S. R. Bennycity. Music by K. V. Mahadevan assets to the movie. The film starring Kalyan Kumar, G. Muthukrishnan, T. S. Balaiah and M. V. Rajamma played lead with R. S. Manohar, Santhiya, Nagesh, L. Vijayalakshmi, T. P. Muthulakshmi and Rama Rao played portraying supporting role.[2][3][4][5] The film was Fourteen years later remade in Malayalam under the title as Pravaham in 1975 the film was directed by Sasikumar. But the malayalam film was could not create waves.[6]
