The Chosen (Spanish: El elegido)[1] is a 2016 film written and directed by Antonio Chavarrías.[2][3] This starring by Hannah Murray, Alfonso Herrera, Julian Sands and Henry Goodman.[4] The movie was filmed in Coyoacán, Mexico and Barcelona, Spain, and its release was scheduled for the first part of 2016.[5] The film is based on the murder of Leon Trotsky in 1940.[3][6][7]
