The Connection (2014 documentary film)

The Connection is a 2014 documentary[1] directed by former ABC journalist Shannon Harvey[2][3] which outlines various aspects of mind body medicine,[4] such as the role of stress and community. It looks at the effect this has on human health, particularly those with a chronic illness.[5]

It features Dean Ornish, Herbert Benson, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Esther Sternberg, Andrew Weil,[6] Alice Domar, David Spiegel, Craig Hassed, Damien Finniss and Sara Lazar.[7] It also features six stories of people who have used mind body medicine while suffering from illnesses including multiple sclerosis, infertility, heart disease, cancer, autoimmune disease and chronic pain.
