The Legend of Mi Yue (Chinese: 羋月傳; pinyin: Mǐ Yuè Zhuàn) is a 2015 Chinese historical drama based on Jiang Shengnan's novel with the same name.[1] It originally aired in 2 episodes daily on Beijing TV and Dragon TV, Monday through Sunday from 19:35 to 21:00. It was directed by Zheng Xiaolong and stars Sun Li, Liu Tao, Alex Fong, Huang Xuan, and Gao Yunxiang. The series tells the story of Mi Yue (Queen Dowager Xuan), the first stateswoman in the history of China.

Production
Filming started on September 6, 2014 and ended on 29 January, 2015.[2] The television series took place in Inner Mongolia, Zhuzhou, Beijing Expo Park, Xiangshan, and Hengdian World Studios.[3]

It started broadcasting on Beijing Television on November 30, 2015. It started broadcasting on Anhui Television on December 8, 2015. It will start broadcasting on Jiangsu Television and Liaoning Television on December 30, 2015. It will start broadcasting in Taiwan in June 2016.
