The Personal History of Rachel Dupree is an upcoming historical film directed by Claire McCarthy[1] and starring Viola Davis, Mahershala Ali, and Quvenzhané Wallis. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Ann Weisgarber.
Plot
Set during the early 1900s in South Dakota, Rachel (Davis) and Isaac Dupree (Ali), an African American couple, raise their family on an isolated ranch in the Badlands.
