The Sims Stories
The Sims Stories is a series of computer games in The Sims series. They are all three optimized for low end computers and laptops in mind, and were all based on the console releases of The Sims 2, and each are counterparts of the three main titles in The Sims 2 console line of games. (The Sims 2, The Sims 2: Pets and The Sims 2: Castaway). Like the console releases, the three Stories titles all feature Story Mode, as well as traditional Freeplay. The first two titles, Life Stories and Pet Stories, require storymode to be played using pre-made characters, such as Ryley and Vince. Castaway Stories allows you to create your own storymode character.
- The Sims Life Stories (2007)
The Sims: Life Stories is based on The Sims 2, and features two separate Story Modes and a Freeplay mode. In Story Mode, you play as either Vince, who is trying to find love, or Ryley, who is forced to move with her aunt after being evicted from her SimCity apartment.
- The Sims Pet Stories (2007)
The Sims: Pet Stories is based on The Sims 2: Pets and also features two separate Story Modes as well as a FreePlay mode. In Story Mode, you play as Alice, who is fighting to save her home from being torn down, or Stephen, who is looking after his cousins cat.

Unlike the previous two titles, there is only one single Story Mode, in which you can either play as the two pre-made characters or design your own character.
