Scott Bachrach
Scott Bachrach is an American businessman and entrepreneur in the fields of manufacturing, product development, sales and marketing. He was named one of the Forty under Forty Young Licensing Leaders of Tomorrow by License! Magazine,[1] and has generated over $1 billion in retail sales throughout his career.
Bachrach is currently President of The Wish Factory, LLC. located in Montclair, New Jersey. The Wish Factory is a global product development, marketing and management company specializing in the children’s consumer product business.
Professional history
Bachrach founded the Fun-4-All Corporation in 1995, where he was Owner and CEO. From 1995 to 1998, he grew Fun-4-All from one product to 300, generating nearly $40 million in annual revenue.
Fun-4-All launched licensed toy products for several motion pictures and other brands, including South Park, KISS, The Osbournes,[2] Kellogg’s, Pets.com and Fisher Price. It also won notable industry awards such as the Licensing Industry “Licensee of the Year” award, and Spencer Gifts “Vendor of the Year”, and “Licensed Product of the Year.”
Bachrach founded Think Tank Toys in 2006, a New York-based company that manufactured and marketed toys, and other novelties. In 2008, Think Tank Toys was acquired by Wow Wee USA,[3] a designer of high-tech entertainment products. The new division was named Think Wow Toys, and launched products for brands such as Mrs. Fields, Jamba Juice,[4] Hershey, Chuck E Cheese, and The Disney Company.
In 2011, Bachrach formed The Wish Factory Inc. The Wish Factory acquired licenses with One Direction, Cody Simpson, Austin Mahone, and Duck Dynasty in addition to creating original electronic and accessories brands such as Urban Animal and Scotty Bz.
In 2015, The Wish Factory LLC, a New Jersey-based company founded solely by Bachrach, created and launched Kawaii Cubes, licensed stackable collectable plush toys. Kawaii Cubes licenses include Warner Bros DC Comics and Looney Tunes, as well as Batman vs. Superman and Suicide Squad. The Wish Factory also manufactures and markets novelty products for the upcoming July 2016 release “Secret Life of Pets”.[2]
Personal life
Scott Bachrach currently resides in Montclair, New Jersey. He is the son of entertainment insurance broker Shel Bachrach and has two sons, Ben Bachrach and Asher Bachrach.
