Toby Carvery is a British carvery chain brand owned and operated by Mitchells and Butlers. The brand has been in operation for over 30 years. The chain consists of over 150 restaurants and their slogan is "Home of the Roast".[1]
Sites open at 7am, serving breakfast until 11am (10:30am on Sundays) and then the carvery runs from 11:30am until 10pm.[2]
The branch at Nottingham Road, Chaddesden, Derby received a 3 star rating when it had a food hygiene inspection by Derby City Council and The Crook Log Public House in Kent received 1 star.[3]
Restaurants
Toby Carvery restaurants were originally designed in the style of traditional English pubs; however, in recent years they have started to build new restaurants where the image is more modern and all older pubs are being refurbished too. Restaurants are often found alongside hotels such as Holiday Inn Express, Travelodge and Premier Inn at motorway junctions or other major A roads throughout the UK, from Perth to the far south of England. Toby Carvery has recently started opening restaurants on high streets and in shopping centres.
