Tom Becka is an American talk radio personality and was the host of the Tom Becka Show on 1290 KOIL in Omaha. He is known for his gravelly voice, and libertarian political views. For a number of years he was heard on KFAB in Omaha. He left KFAB on October 26, 2011. His departure was due to Clear Channel Radio making cutbacks across the country.[1] Becka has started blogging and podcasting at tombecka.com.

While living in Albuquerque he went to an open mike night at Laffs comedy club and figured he could do just as well as some of the people he was seeing there. The host of the open mike night was Marc Maron. He went on stage and got some good laughs and was soon spending all the time he could at the club and fighting for stage time. Becka spent a number of years on the road as a stand up comic, working with acts including Jerry Seinfeld, Sam Kinnison and Lewis Black.[2]

Becka has hosted shows on KMBZ in Kansas City. He has written a book called There's No Business without the Show.[3]
