Travis Keller
P. Travis Keller, M.A.[1] is a progressive leader in higher education focused on creating a premier university environment by developing leaders, mentoring students, collaborating with faculty and administration, investing in student learning and wellness, building a network of partners, and enhancing alumni relationships that provide students with both the financial resources and human support to achieve the highest level of educational excellence and vocational preparedness.[2]
Keller currently serves as the Director of Alumni Relations[3] at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Keller's position at MVNU[4] was announced April 2, 2015[5] and was announced to the Church of the Nazarene via NCN News.[6] He served previously at MVNU as the Director of Student Life, Director of Student Involvement and Accountability, and as a Resident Director. An alumnus of MVNU, Travis graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion. He completed his Master of Arts in Missional Leadership from Northwest Nazarene University[7] and has earned additional credits from Ashland Theological Seminary.
As adjunct faculty, Keller teaches Discipleship of the Christian Mind, a gateway course for new students that is a part of the general core curriculum requirements. He speaks regularly at MVNU events and for leadership training conference, retreats, and public services.[8]
