Varun Tej is an Indian film actor who works predominantly in the Telugu film industry. Tej made his debut as a lead in the film Mukunda directed by Srikanth Addala opposite Pooja Hegde. In Kanche, he portrayed Dhupati Haribabu, the grandson of a poor barber, who falls in love with Seethadevi who later goes on to fight in World War II. His third film, Loafer, was directed by Puri Jagannath and released on 18 December 2015.[1]

Personal life

He is born to Telugu actor Nagendra Babu and Padmaja. He also has a sister Niharika Konidela who is an television anchor and actress. Famous actors Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan are his uncles. Famous actors Allu Arjun and Ram Charan are his cousins.
