Vicente Lava

Vicente Lava was a Filipino communist leader before the Second World War. Lava merged with Socialists in the Philippines to form the Hukbalahap movement.[1]

After Vicente's death, his brother Jose Lava became the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Philippines in May 1948. Another brother, Jesus Lava, took over after Jose's arrest in 1950.
