Victoria Junior College Football

Football is one of the many Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) in Victoria Junior College (VJC). Visiting coaches have included David Beckham. VJC Football participates in the National A Division Football Championship for Boys and Girls every year.

The boys' team has made it to 12 finals for the past 18 years. VJC won 6 of the 12 finals contested, and lost 2 of them narrowly by penalties. The arch-rivals of VJC boys' team is Meridian Junior College (MJC) whom they had met 6 times in the finals.

The girls' team has made it to 9 finals for the past 10 years, winning the title 8 times. The arch-rivals of VJC girls' team is St Andrew's Junior College (SAJC) whom they had met 4 times in the finals.

From 1998, schools from Institute of Education (ITE), who used to dominate the A Division football championships, no longer take part in the competition.

The A Division girls competition was started in 2005. From 2005-2007, it was known as the Football Association of Singapore Inter-JC Girls' Soccer Championship.
