Villafranca Air Base (ICAO: LIPX) is a former Italian Air Force installation in Villafranca, Verona, Italy. It was originally built for World War II, and was later reopened as the Verona Villafranca Airport after its closure. During the Bosnian War, the base was used by NATO aircraft as a staging area.[2]
