Vwawa

Vwawa is an administrative ward in the Mbozi District of the Mbeya Region of Tanzania. According to the 2002 census, the ward had a total population of 37,844.[1]

The major tribe found in vwawa ward is nyiha,but other tribes found, are ndali,nyiha,chaggas,nyakyusa and lambyas. According to 2012 Tanzanian census,population of vwawa ward were 65625 people,where by male were 26372 and female was 29884.Population increased due to the improvement of social services,proper government policy and well improved infrastructure.The main economic activities in vwawa ward is Agriculture.according to imani mwasomola (Baazigar)research field
