Shows
There are a number of shows on WKTN on each given day. Currently "Amy in the Morning" hosted by Amy Chiles is heard from 6am to 10am. "The Midday Program" hosted by Dennis Beverly is heard from 10am to 3pm which also is home to "Oldies For Lunch". "The Afternoon Drive" hosted by Justin Draper is heard from 3pm to 6pm. He can also be heard on "The Evening Program" each night from 6pm to midnight. Saturday, Dennis Beverly host's the popular community affairs program "At Issue" as well as the "Saturday Morning Wake-Up Show" and is with you through your saturday. Bob Roll hosts the "Best of Contemporary Christian Music" Sunday mornings and hosts the "Sunday Afternoon Show".
Other shows include "At Issue" Hosted by Dennis Beverly, which is a public affairs program concerning events in Hardin County, Ohio. American Top Ten with Casey Kasem was heard each Saturday morning from 9am to noon until Kasem retired in June 2009. Rick Dees A/C Countdown replaced the Kasem show. American Gold with Dick Bartley is heard each Saturday night, along with Steve Downes The Classics.
Twice a year, Chris Tyler hosts the "Back to School Request Show" and the "Spring Break Request Show" At Christmas time, Dennis Beverly brings Santa Claus into the studio for the "Santa Call in Show"
Focus On The Family, a Christian radio program runs each Sunday morning at 7am, and the Church of the Month (where area churches take turns broadcasting their services each month) is heard each Sunday morning as well.
Sports
WKTN broadcasts the competitions of the Kenton Wildcats, the sports teams of Kenton High School. Programs are usually hosted by Chad Spencer or Bob Simmons with the play-by-play and Jim Homan with color commentary. In addition the station also carries the games of the Cleveland Browns and of Ohio State University's football team.
