WSSD (88.1 FM, "The Blues Station") was a radio station broadcasting a blues music format.[1] Licensed to Chicago, Illinois, USA, the station was owned by Lakeside Telecommunications, Inc.[2]
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) notified Lakeside Telecommunications on October 6, 2015 that the station's license would be considered expired as of June 25, 2015 due to WSSD having been silent for more than twelve months, unless evidence was provided otherwise. The FCC deleted the WSSD call sign on November 18, 2015.
