WXCF is a Classic Hits and Oldies broadcast radio station licensed to Clifton Forge, Virginia. WXCF serves Clifton Forge and Covington. WXCF is owned and operated by Todd P. Robinson, Inc.[1]
History
WXCF launched in 1950. On November 19, 2012, WHTU switched its callsign from the long-time WXCF to WHTU. On December 5, 2012, the station's callsign was switched from WHTU back to WXCF. Sometime in 2014, WXCF began simulcasting sister station WJVR.
In early 2016, WXCF switched from simulcasting WJVR to airing its own Classic Hits and Oldies format.
