Whatman Park

Whatman Park is a park in Maidstone, Kent. It was opened in 2001 as part of the millennium celebrations, using the National lottries lasting legacy project.[1] The park is holder of the Green Flag Award.[2]

Facilities

The park features two children's playgrounds, a skate park, boardwalks which run through trees, an open air stage - the riverstage.[3]

The river boats, the Kentish Lady and Allington Belle also have a request stop in the park.[4]

Whatman park is found alongside the Medway Valley Walk, which runs along the medway from Tonbridge to Rochester.
