Plot

It follows two friends, Amanda and M.J., Both just a year out of college who know a few friends in the L.A. area who share a house with their gay friend Banks. Both want meaningful relationships, but as soon as they land good jobs and men, things become difficult and the men they meet do bad things. The title refers to the aftermath of a night out where some unsavory truths come out that Amanda and M.J. discover that get revealed later in the film.

Critical reception for When the Party's Over was mostly positive,[1] and Allmovie rated the film at three stars.[2] The Los Angeles Times was more positive, writing that it "transcends the conventional plot and brings the characters alive in this engaging tale of struggling housemates."[3]
