Wide Awake Drunk is the first full-length album by Greg Connors, released in November 2000 on Atlanta independent record label, Scared Records. It features songs recorded in 1996-1997 in four different sessions. Four of the songs were recorded by cohort Joseph Arthur at his home studio in Brooklyn. Other songs were recorded by zod in Decatur, Georgia two of which are covers of songs by Bob Dylan and Donovan. The album includes fifteen tracks total, thirteen which are original songs written by Greg Connors. Most of the songs are live in the studio renditions, featuring only Greg's voice and guitar, but the last five tracks include overdubs of percussion, synthesizer, organ and samples.
