Wilaquta (Aymara wila blood, blood-red, quta lake,[2][3] "red lake", hispanicized spelling Vilajota) is mountain in the Kallawaya mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 5,198 m (17,054 ft) high. It is located in the Puno Region, Carabaya Province, in the southwest of the Ituata District, near the border with the Macusani District. Wilaquta lies north of Thujsaquta, northeast of a lake named Thujsaquta and northwest of Allpa Qhata.[1][4]
