Youth Dynamics
Youth Dynamics is a non-profit Christian youth organization, founded in 1970, actively involved in dealing head on with today's tough issues in a manner culturally relevant to youth. Youth Dynamics' mission is to invite and challenge youth to a lifelong journey in relationship with Christ and His church.
They minister to youth through three distinct branches of ministry, YD Communities, YD Adventures, and Stonewater Ranch.
YD Communities
Building relationships involves: going to where young people are and becoming a part of their world; conveying genuine love and acceptance; modeling an authentic Christian life; being a friend, a counselor, a teacher. In each YD community we seek to create a non-threatening environment where students can meet to have fun and hear how Jesus Christ can impact their lives.
YD staff may use weekly events, visits to the middle and high school campuses, wilderness trips and more. They may meet in homes, rented office space, or a full-blown youth center. Whatever the method our heart is to reach teens who live in small or rural towns throughout the Northwest.
YD Adventures
Teens need a break from the ordinary, an experience that provides a time of reflection, growth, fun and challenge. These activities are strategically planned to bring about life-changing learning situations called teachable moments.
YD Adventures trained and certified leaders have worked to insure a setting where both the individual and group are challenged to assess their relationship with self, God and others. This is accomplished through the use of controlled, adventure-based activities. YD Adventures provides all the technical expertise and equipment necessary for white water rafting, rock climbing, winter camping, backpacking, mountaineering and other adventure activities. These experiences can be custom-tailored to meet the needs of churches, schools, group homes, and other youth related groups.
Stonewater Ranch
Youth Dynamics, first ever camp property, Stonewater Ranch has three primary purposes:
1. To provide a base of operations and launching pad for the Washington Base of YD Adventures.
2. To provide a retreat center / camp property for Youth Dynamics.
3. To serve as a retreat center for the greater body of Christ, especially youth ministries that flow out of the local church.
