1978 Washington Huskies football team
The 1978 Washington Huskies football team was an American football team that represented the University of Washington during the 1978 NCAA Division I-A football season. In its fourth season under head coach Don James, the team compiled a 7–4 record, finished in a tie for second place in the Pacific-10 Conference, and was outscored by its opponents by a combined total of 270 to 155.[1] Linebacker Michael Jackson was selected as the team's most valuable player. Nesby Glasgow, Scott Greenwood, Michael Jackson, Jeff Toews were the team captains.
