2012 ICC World Twenty20 officials
Bruce Oxenford has been included in the umpires panel for the upcoming ICC World Twenty20 2012, to be held in Sri Lanka from September 18 to October 17. He will join his colleagues from the Emirates Elite Panel for the tournament.
The full list of umpires is: Billy Bowden, Aleem Dar, Steve Davis, Kumar Dharmasena, Marais Erasmus, Ian Gould, Tony Hill, Richard Kettleborough, Nigel Llong, Asad Rauf, Simon Taufel, Rod Tucker (all from the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Umpires) and Bruce Oxenford (from the Emirates International Panel of ICC Umpires).
The Match Referees for the event will be: Ranjan Madugalle and Jeff Crowe (both from the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Match Referees). Graeme Labrooy will be match-referee for the Women's World Twenty20.
It is also to be noted that former Emirates Elite Panelist Billy Doctrove will not officiate in this tournament because he had retired from umpiring in international matches. Nigel Llong had replaced him in the Emirates Elite Panel.
The selection committee consists of Dave Richardson (ICC General Manager - Cricket), Ranjan Madugalle (ICC Chief Match Referee), David Llyod (former player, coach, umpire and now television commentator) and Srinivas Venkataraghavan (former elite panel umpire).[1]
