The 2015–16 South of Scotland Football League, is the 70th season of the South of Scotland Football League.
Wigtown & Bladnoch were the defending champions. This was the second season which the league was added to the Scottish league pyramid at level six, with the winner playing off against the East of Scotland Football League winner for a place in the 2016–17 Lowland Football League. This will be subject to the successful club meeting the criteria for promotion.
Crichton merged with North & South Lanarkshire AFA amateur side Lochmaben to prevent the club folding, which included a return to Crichton Hospital Park.
