Ave Fenix Pictures is an American film-production company, founded in 2014 by Mónica Esmeralda León.[1] It currently holds release deals with Circus Road Films, Indican Pictures and worldwide distributors.[2] Ave Fenix Pictures is the first Latino film studio in Chicago and one of the leading independent film studios in the United States.[3]

Ave Fenix Pictures uses a La Raza method of film-making that brings together artists from the United States, Mexico and the United Kingdom.[4]

Adios Vaya Con Dios, released in January 2016, was the official selection at the 2014 Bel Air Film Festival, where it was nominated for Best Feature Film, Best Screenplay and Best Actor.[1] The film is the first award-winning movie to use actual gang members and street artists.[5]

When my Eyes Go Dark was an official selection at Film Invasion Los Angeles 2016. It uses real paranormal voices collected from the Archdiocese of Detroit.[6]

Ave Fenix Pictures was presented the 2016 Reflejos Bilingual Newspaper Reflecting Excellence Award by Walt Disney Studios actress Julia Vera.[7]
