Carolina Rebellion is a hard rock and heavy metal music festival that takes place annually in North Carolina. It is produced by AEG Live and Danny Wimmer Presents. The festival features music, food and vendors. The inaugural festival took place at the Metrolina Expo in Charlotte, NC. The second year of the festival it was relocated to Rockingham Speedway in Rockingham, NC. The festival took place at Rock City Campgrounds at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, NC in 2013 and the promoters aim to make that the permanent venue. Also in 2013, Carolina Rebellion expanded to two days. The event was extended to three days in 2016, with 80,000 in attendance.[1]
