Dhwani Gautam (born 22 September 1985) is a filmmaker, director and writer who predominantly works in the Gujarati Film Industry and Bollywood.[1][2] [3][4][5][6][7][8][9]
Career
At age 13, Dhwani watched Yash Chopra's Diwale Dulhania Le Jayenge after which he decided he wanted to become a filmmaker. Hailing from a middle class family based in Delhi, he worked small jobs until he became an RJ for a while. Later, he moved to Mumbai where his real struggle began. After living off tea and bread for a series of months, the breakthrough came when he was hired as the Assistant Director for the acclaimed family drama, Baa Bahoo Aur Baby. Later he went on to work for three more serials. The stints in the Television Industry got him work for feature films including the Sunny Deol starrer Heroes and the Bobby Deol starrer Nanhe Jaisalmer. After garnering experience in direction and writing, he went on to work for the Punjabi Film Industry. In 2015, he started work on his own films including Romance Complicated, Tuu To Gayo and currently under production Patel Vs. Patrick. [10]
