[1] He served as Minister of state for Home Affairs,Revenue & Co-Operation in Maharashtra Government headed by Sharad Pawar in period of 1991-1995. He is NCP leader, But in 2014 he joined BJP at Mumbai in presence of Amit Shah along with Suryakanta Patil & Bhaskarrao Khatgaonkar .
