Dubno [ˈdubnɔ] (Ukrainian: Дубно, Dubno) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Boćki, within Bielsk County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) east of Boćki, 16 km (10 mi) south of Bielsk Podlaski, and 54 km (34 mi) south of the regional capital Białystok.
In early 17th century, voivode Mikołaj Sapieha erected a mansion in Dubno with four steeples, utterly destroyed during the Swedish Deluge. In late 18th century, the Potocki family built there one of the first sugar refinery plants in Poland.[2]
