Encore! is the third album by German countertenor Klaus Nomi, released posthumously in 1983. It is partly a compilation of previous works, with some new work added.
Nomi died of complications from AIDS earlier that year. The disease was poorly understood at that time.[2]

The doctors discovered that Nomi's immune system had collapsed, and also found a rare form of skin cancer, Kaposi's Sarcoma, breaking out on his body. The condition was not yet known as AIDS.
